Burning ID on new DigiSpark

To use this library you should burn ID on device. Of course you can connect to device without ID using default open() method missing name argument, but you will lose the protocol functionality of using multiple devices simultaneously.

Library comes with tools. To generate identifier you can use IDBurner. This program allows you to create types of devices and keeps informations about burned devices in local file (you can import and export data manually, by editing config file). Thanks to this, you don’t have to worry about the conflict of names of manufactured devices (as long as they are both burned on the same computer or you took care to import up-to-date information).

To Burn ID You have to choose device, devices with blank EEPROM will be recognized as “New Device without ID”

Before burning choose type of device, if you don’t already have any, click “add” to open new type creator

Now click burn-button and wait for end of burning process, You would be able to see new ID in “choose device” box
